Wendy Tran
Occupational Therapist & Coach
Dedicated, enthusiastic, passionate, a lifelong learner and a bookworm.
Wendy has a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree with Specialization in Psychology from the University of Alberta. She spent her first few years as an Occupational Therapist working in home care in which she rediscovered her passion in mental health and addictions.
Through reading, learning and reflecting, she became more aware of how childhood experiences affect resiliency. With this awareness, Wendy was inspired to work with children and families. Wendy believes in the importance of role modelling and that how and what we teach children inadvertently affects how they will treat themselves and others in the future.
Wendy is passionate in empowering children and families to discover their strengths and to use these strengths to build meaningful lives! Wendy’s interests include: reading books, playing the piano, going to yoga, running, playing floor hockey and volleyball, watching movies, eating and spending time with family and friends.
