Heather feels strongly that every person, regardless of their circumstance, deserves to have a voice and make themselves heard. She feels privileged to be a part of the process of helping people find their voices. Heather is able to bring her sense of humour, passion for helping others, and compassion to those who support children with communication needs.

Heather graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master's in Speech and Language Pathology. Heather has years of experience working with school-aged children with a wide variety of communication needs in Alberta. After an exciting year and a half working with children in England, she decided it was time to experience a proper winter again and returned to the Edmonton area.

Heather is drawn to Qi Creative because of the opportunities to flex her creative muscles while working closely with families of children with diverse communication needs, as well as collaborating with a group of amazing and talented colleagues. In her spare time, Heather loves rock climbing, curling, and floor hockey.
