Sheka Reid
Occupational Therapist & Coach
Coach Sheka is a friendly and enthusiastic person who has a passion for working with children. She loves surrounding herself with family, friends and delicious food. She believes that everyone has a story and we just have to take the time to listen.
Sheka graduated from Queens University with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She has gained much of her clinical experience in a children’s treatment centre in Ontario, working with children from a variety of different age groups and backgrounds.
During her time in Ontario, Sheka helped create a Fine Motor Clinic at Durham College. Through that experience she learned about her passion for teaching. She loves building on the capacities of children, and believes in the importance of professional development and enjoys learning about innovative ways to support families.
Sheka is always up for a new adventures from hiking outdoors to white water rafting in costa rica. Travelling the world and learning about new cultures enriches her soul.
