Kelly Cassan

Speech Language Pathologist & Coach

Kelly is a life-long learner who is dedicated to empowering others.  She believes connection and communication provide the necessary foundation to allow people to develop to their fullest potential. She feels incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to work together with children and families; it is an honour to be part of their journey.

Kelly’s career path began at the age of fifteen when she became a respite worker in rural Manitoba. The children and families she worked with touched her heart and encouraged her to pursue a career supporting people with diverse needs. She graduated from Minot State University in 2008 with her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and moved to Alberta. For the next eleven years, Kelly had the opportunity to work with amazing children, families, and colleagues in early-childhood and school-based settings.

Along the way she learned to find joy and wonder in each day, as well as the importance of play and playfulness. In her spare time she enjoys reading, playing piano, spending quality time with her friends and family, hanging out with her pets, playing cards/board games, going for walks and volunteering with her dog.

Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.
