Crystal Kroening
Speech-Language Pathologist & Coach
The whole world smiles in the same language.
Crystal graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology. As a member of the Qi Creative team, she has had opportunities to exercise her wide variety of interests and solidify her passion for this work. Crystal is particularly interested in supporting speech, apraxia, fluency, social-emotional skills, and interpersonal relationships.
She believes that communication is more than just words: it’s an identity in your culture, village, and family, and every message deserves to be heard. She loves people and has known since she was a child that she would be in a profession dedicated to helping others. Before becoming a Speech and Language Pathologist, Crystal was a dedicated respite worker who loved working with families with various needs. She feels fortunate to be able to combine her passion for communication with her drive to help others through the profession of Speech and Language Pathology.
Crystal grew up in a small town in the Rocky Mountains, surrounded by nature and adventure. She is now experiencing these joys with her children. She loves cooking, travelling, and experiencing new people, places, cultures, music, and food. She laughs often and sings her joy.
“The most important thing in communication is hearing what isn’t said.”
